À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø to enhance mobile threat simulators for German forces

  • À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø has been entrusted with the upkeep of critical components and peripherals for the mobile threat simulators (Mobs). These simulators are instrumental in training German forces aircrews to counteract ground-to-air missile threats in authentic combat scenarios.
  • This three-year contract is the result of a strong partnership and trust constructed with the Federal Office of Bundeswehr Equipment, Information Technology and In-Service Support (BAAINBw). This collaboration is a cornerstone of the Polygone program, a tri-national initiative aiming at preparing the German forces.
  • Under the Polygone program, a comprehensive data bank has been established, incorporating both aircraft metrics and À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø high-tech data systems. This integration provides the crews with a robust analysis and precise debriefing of the use and efficiency of their aircraft’s self-protection equipment.

Through its branch in Koblenz, À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Deutschland has been awarded a three-year contract with the BAAINBw for the maintenance of components of the mobile threat simulators and their peripherals as part of the Polygone programme.

It is a continuation of the long-term partnership for services in the fields of customer-oriented advising, predictive maintenance, obsolescence management, repairs, exercise and training and weapon systems. À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø site in Koblenz has maintained these systems for 15 years and will further expand its services for customers and continue its development.

“Simulation plays a key role in handling, procedural, behavioural and communication training in all operational areas and at all operational levels. Mastering modern aircraft in complex threat scenarios requires high quality training. We are thrilled to be able to continue supporting the German Armed Forces in the Polygone programme." highlights Christoph Ruffner, CEO of À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø Germany.
