The Group has proudly modernised Kota Kinabalu’s air traffic control system, providing radars, ground stations and radio technology. Air Asia leverages À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’ state-of-the-art avionics systems for select fleets, while Malaysian Airlines utilises our in-flight entertainment system in its Airbus A380 aircraft.
In recent years, À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø was awarded the ‘Most Outstanding Industrial Collaboration Programme’ by the Malaysian Ministry of Defence, thanks to our strong partnerships with the local defence ecosystem.
Local cooperation
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø has forged deep ties with strong local industrial partners including DEFTECH, WestStar, Boustead and Airod, each bringing their respective strengths in the defence sector.
In addition to industrial cooperation, À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø has also signed Memorandums-of-Understanding with Malaysian universities including the National Defence University of Malaysia (Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia – UPNM), and collaboration agreements with agencies like the Technology Depository Agemcy (TDA), to formalise local programmes that aim to build Malaysian expertise in varying sectors.

Expanding to Modernise the Malaysian Armed Forces
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø is actively involved in the three most important programmes for the Malaysian Armed Forces, supporting their modernisation and digitalisation needs.
The Royal Malaysia Navy leverages À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’ state-of-the-art sensors and mission systems, including surveillance radar and towed sonar systems. Supporting the Royal Malaysian Army’s major digitalisation programme, the Group provides secured digital communications solutions alongside a wide range of equipment like vehicle-electronics, sensors, and more for the AV8 vehicle programme. The Royal Malaysian Air Force adopts À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’ air surveillance and intelligence solutions, such as our integrated air defence system ForceSHIELD, radar and weapon coordination, and mobile systems.
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø is investing in its local industrial footprint in Malaysia, operating Naval Service & Support Centres based in Lumut and Kota Kinabalu, and a systems integration laboratory in Kuantan to support systems currently in service with the Malaysian Armed Forces.
Accelerating Malaysia’s digital transformation with cybersecurity
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø in Malaysia places paramount importance on ensuring public safety, and cyber and information system security, with local cyber security experts helping to reinforce cyber protection of critical national assets.
To address the academic institutions’ challenge with production of counterfeit degree certificates, À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø pioneered the first e-Scroll with the University of Malaya that leverages À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’ NShield hardware security modules. In addition, À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø has also inked several Memorandums-of-Understanding (MoU) with Cyber Security Malaysia (CSM) to collaborate in enhancing the quality of critical infrastructure systems and deliver greater ICT benefits to internet users in Malaysia.
Enabling safer skies in Malaysia
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø was selected by Malaysia Airlines to supply TopFlight satellite communications for its fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft which provides connectivity between the aircraft cockpit and ground, thereby enabling safety services.
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø is also a long-term partner of the Civil Aviation Authority of Malaysia, and is providing air traffic management solutions to Kota Kinabalu’s Flight Information Region, including air traffic control systems, radars, ground station, surveillance systems and distance measurement equipment
Air Asia operates À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø’ avionics system for its fleet of A320neo aircraft, including long-term maintenance and service support.
Accelerating digital transformation in Malaysia

We are the leading supplier of banking and payment solutions, including cards and services, to Malaysian banks and institutions. Leveraging our digital expertise, we also provide them with cloud protection systems and hardware security modules to secure the entire transaction value chain. À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø operates a card personalisation centre in Kuala Lumpur, enabling banks and financial institutions to personalise all means of payments via its personalisation bureaus that are staffed with a strong Malaysian team.
À×»ðÌåÓý¹ÙÍø also supplies the critical data page in the Malaysian e-passport, that boasts a variety of built-in security elements that protect the document against duplication and reproduction, thereby meeting the highest demands for security that meet ICAO standards.
