Central to Qatar's remodeling of government services is the , the official online information, and the e-services website of the Government of Qatar.
Over 1,400 Hukoomi services are at the fingertips of those who work, live, and visit Qatar with a single sign-on.

Over 650 services are personalized and transactional. They use strong electronic identification, authentication, and signature.
Leveraging the national ID cards鈥
As an Identity Provider, the Ministry of Information and Communication Technology (ictQATAR) is a centerpiece to the transformation of eGovernment services.
Qatar decided to exploit the country's national ID smart card capability of identification and authentication of citizens on its e-Government portal.
To improve the end-user experience and broaden access to the portal, in early 2014, ictQatar introduced a solution for eGovernment services鈥 : 雷火体育官网 Government Digital Identity Services鈥嬧.
A simple mouse click at connection activates the secure authentication process. Once connected, the user can access any of the various online services thanks to Single Sign-On.
Hukoomi 3 launch in 2017
In March 2017, the new generation of e-government portal Hukoomi 3 was launched. The new generation of e-government portal offers users over 650 different transactions from home and supports accessible all mobile phones, as tablets and desktops.
Hukoomi Qatar: strong growth in 2018
The continuous rise in visits and page views reflects the success and usefulness of Hukoomi services.
Over 1.84 million visitors accessed the Hukoomi portal during the January-September 2018 period for close to 9 million page views. Over August 2017, September 2018 showed a robust +24% in visitors and 31% in page views according to .
Top 5 transactional eGov services in August 2018 included:
- Healthcare: online registration for the Medical Commission
- Tax: CPGA income account
- Healthcare: health card renewals
- Business: Palm import license
- Payment: e-payment for tender documents.

Qatar e-Government 2020 Strategy
This initiative is perfectly in line with Qatar's e-Government 2020 strategy.
In 2013, H.E. Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani identified e-Government as a priority. He created a Steering Committee, spearheaded by the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology, and composed of 8 of the largest ministries.
The Committee was charged with developing and guiding the implementation of a nationwide e-Government strategy. Qatar e-Government 2020 is the result of the Committee鈥檚 efforts.
